Dr. Francisco Martinez, who teaches Spanish, is speaking at a presentation about the Way of St. James on Oct. 13.

This event is being held by the Spanish Club and Sigma Delta Pi, and it will be held in the Alabaster Room of Vinson Hall.

The Way of St. James is a grouping of pilgrimage routes through Europe. The routes all lead to the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, Spain.

Martinez walked 116 miles on his pilgrimage, and he will talk about the experiences that he had on his journey at the presentation.

This event is free and is open to students, staff, faculty and members of the community.
