The Northwestern Oklahoma State University Institute for Citizenship Studies and Department of Social Sciences will present the annual Constitution Day event for 2016 on Tuesday, Sept. 13, at 7 p.m. This year’s topic will be “George Mason:  The Man Who Would Not Sign.”

The program will take place in the Education Center, room 109, on the Alva campus and will feature Scott Stroh III, who serves as the executive director of George Mason’s Mansion Gunston Hall located in Mason Neck, Virginia.

The program will explore the life and contributions of George Mason (1725-1792) as a leading revolutionary, founding father and anti-federalist.

The event is free and open to the public.
