Northwestern Oklahoma State University will be holding a campus wide #BloodDonorChallenge blood drive on February 17 and 18 from 9a.m. to 4p.m. in the student center ranger room.

“Northwestern students and employees have a long history of supporting Oklahomans by saving lives by donating during our campus blood drives,” said Dr. Janet Cunningham President of Northwestern Oklahoma State University. “Blood drives at Northwestern conducted by the Oklahoma Blood Institute (OBI) are some of the most successful campus drives in all of the state. That success is because of your willingness to take time and give the gift of blood.”

All students are encouraged to participate in the blood drive; it only takes about an hour of your time, and can make the difference for friends and neighbors in area hospitals. As a thank you for keeping the blood supply up this fall, all donors will receive a free t-shirt.

Make your appointment by calling OBI at 877-340-8777 or visit OBI.org, walk-ins are welcome.

When donating be sure to prepare yourself prior to arrival to the ranger room. Students need to bring a photo I.D. and eat a good meal prior to donation.
