Homeowners decorate for Halloween

Halloween decorations brighten up the front yard of a homes on Monroe Street south of the Alva campus on Sunday night. Bringing some Halloween cheer to students.
Alva residents are gearing up for Halloween, and several events celebrating the holiday are slated for Northwestern in the coming weeks.

This home on Eight Street features a skeleton and gossamer strings, which criss-cross the front porch of the home as well as the mailbox in front of the residence.

Dr. Janet Cunningham, the university president, has already decorated the front porch of her home on campus for Halloween. Among her decorations are long, colorful ribbons; large, fake spiders; and bright, plastic pumpkins.
