Kevin Kaumans

I’m an English literature major who is minoring in communications. I have been working with the Northwestern newspaper since my second semester as a freshman.

For over a year, I had the privilege of having my own column called “Words with Mr. Kaumans,” in which I would talk about anything from books, TV shows and whatever else I felt like talking about.
This place is one of the first jobs I’ve ever had, and one I enjoy immensely. I am honored for the chance to work for Dr. Armstrong as the newspaper’s entertainment editor this year.

Rest assured, I plan to keep improving on my writing while also making sure I come across as sincere as possible in the topics I will be covering.

My goal for this semester is to be more productive. By the end of my college life, I want to be at least 10 times wiser than when I had originally started. I want to be as knowledgeable in as many subjects as I can before my stay at Northwestern ends.

I am also planning on finally finishing the final book in my “Wolves of the Tundra” trilogy. While I can’t say for certain when it will be done, I’m fairly certain it will be before my senior year ends.
