Thursday, the NWOSU Rodeo team traveled to Colby, Kansas, to compete at Colby Community College.
The men’s team finished fifth and women’s team finished seventh out of seventeen teams.
Carter Anderson tied for fourth out of nine in the tie-down event. with 70 points.
In the breakaway event, Kendyll Miller tied for second out of the ten that scored points. She had 90 points.

In the tie down, Grady Aasby and Nathan Duvall tied for second, both scoring 115 points, five first place. Riley Smith was fifth with 50 points. Tydon Tsosie tied for seventh with 30 points.
In the goat tying, Trinity Kruse tied for third with 80 points. Payton Dingman tied for fifth with 50 points.
In team roping, Tyler Altmiller, with the help of a competitor from Panhandle State, won the event with 160 points. Colter Snook finished fifth, with a competitor from Western Oklahoma State, they scored 30 points.

Waci Thomson was the only Lady Ranger with points in the barrel racing. She finished eighth with 20 points.
