The Southeastern Savage Storm hosted Northwestern last weekend in Durant, Okla., for a four-game conference match-up.
Despite taking a game three 3-2 win, the Rangers were not able to take the series as they fell 3-1.
In game one Friday afternoon, the Rangers were able to strike first in the third inning by scoring two runs.
Southeastern answered back with two of their own in the fourth inning, tying the game at two apiece.
The Rangers added another run in the fifth inning to break the deadlock.
The Savage Storm would not go away, though. In the sixth inning, they added another run, tying the game at three apiece.
Neither team was able to break the deadlock in regulation, sending them into extra innings to decide game one.
Both teams would add two runs apiece in the ninth inning to lock the game up once again, this time at five apiece.
The game would eventually be decided in the eleventh inning as the Savage Storm recorded a walk-off single to get the 6-5 game-one win.
Following the fireworks of game one, the Savage Storm would take game two from the Rangers again, this time 5-2
In game three on Saturday, however, the Rangers managed to grab a 3-2 win.
Leading the Rangers in game three was Madison McGraw. McGraw went 2-for-3 from the plate with a big three-run home run.
The home run by McGraw came in the fourth inning after the Rangers were down by one after Southeastern scored in the second inning.
Southeastern added on a late run in the fifth to close to within one, but starting Rangers pitcher Allora Miller would close it out.
In game four, the Rangers managed to collect only two runs as they fell to the Savage Storm 5-2.
The 3-1 series loss to conference foe Southeastern moves them to 13-19 in the GAC and 18-25 overall.
The Rangers will be back at home for the rest of the season and next up for Northwestern is the Tigers of East Central starting at 2 p.m. Friday and at noon Saturday.
