Elda JonesFormer assistant professor of health and physical education, Elda Jones will be riding in the Oklahoma MS Bike Ride: The Road Divided this weekend.

The bike ride is a donation campaign to help fund research and services to those suffering from multiple sclerosis, or MS.

The ride will start on the campus of Oklahoma University, run through Oklahoma City and end on the rival campus of OSU. According to Jones, this is approximately a journey of around 150 miles. She says she will ride the last 10 miles into Boone Pickens Stadium after riding for her first time last year.

To donate to Jones’ ride online, visit nationalmssociety.org/oke, click “Donate” and then click “Support an Event Participant”. Then type in Elda Jones, click “Find a Participant” and  then click“Donate Now”.

Donation checks can also be made out to National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 4606 E. 67th Street, Suite 103, Tulsa, OK, 74136. Jones asks that donators include her name and the bike ride in the memo. Donations also can be taken to Karen Thomas at Alva State Bank.
