The Northwestern Oklahoma State University Student Government Association is now accepting applications for the John Sheffield Teacher of the Year Award.
Applications can be printed out or are available in the Student Services office. The deadline to submit the application is March 10. Applications must have at least one letter of recommendation, and the student submitting the student submitting the application cannot also submit the letter of recommendation.
The John Sheffield Teacher of the Year Award honors the memory and ideas of the late professor John Sheffield. This award is given out annually at the Alumni Banquet.
The recipient of this award should display certain qualities of effectiveness for the student body, such as showing enthusiasm for people, work to serve people and the community, dependability and support of the student body.
