Northwestern Oklahoma State University will be holding their commencement ceremony, celebrating their spring graduates on Saturday, May 4 at the Ranger football field.
As of recent reports, 170 seniors will be present at commencement, receiving their specific honors. Of that group, 33 seniors will receive their Masters and 12 will be receiving their Doctor of Nursing Practice.
Along with this, a previous graduate will speak at commencement, as is tradition at NWOSU. The speaker at commencement will be Mark Brace.
Brace is from Vici and graduated from Northwestern with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance in 1982.
Brace is also the president of BancFirst in Lawton.
He met his wife, Sandra, at Northwestern 45 years ago.
A senior, vocal performance major Draven Hidalgo from Hooker, will be performing the Alma Mater in the ceremony.
