Volleyball only had one game to play this week, and they faced off against school rivals Southwestern Oklahoma State.


The first set was competitive, as the two teams ended with just five points between them. The Bulldogs won the first set 20-25. The game only went downhill from there for the Lady Rangers. The second set ended with a 15-25 win for the Bulldogs. The third set ended 13-25, giving the Bulldogs the sweep and the 0-3 victory.


Tess De Zanet let Northwestern in kills; she had seven. Naya Danenburg was second in kills as she had four.


Ryann Eastes had the most assists with 17. Jadyn Padilla and Ivanny Blackwood both were second with two.


Padilla and Eastes both had the most digs; they had 17 apiece. Blackwood had the third most with nine.


The Lady Rangers’ next match is against Henderson State University on ThursdayBaptist University on Friday.


NWOSU sits 11th in the Great American Conference standings out of the 12 teams.
