Cross country breaks PRs

Cross-country traveled to Joplin, Missouri to compete in the 37^th Annual Southern Stampede at Southern Missouri University on Saturday where 12 runners broke PRs.

The men finished 9^th out of 28 schools.

Riley Herndon was the top Ranger in Joplin. Herndon finished 25^th with a time of 25:22. Andrew Scott finished 42^nd with a time of 25:49. Coy Bullard was the third Ranger with a time of 26:26 putting him in 75^th.

Matthew Manning finished 113^th with a time of 27:10. Boyd Hamby finished with a time of 27:56, putting him in 153^rd. Daxton Williams was the next runner from Northwestern. Williams finished 158^th with a time of 28:09.

Tristan Meeker finished 187^th with a time of 28:45. Boomer Mendenhall was 193^rd with his time of 29:01.  Kaleb Madden finished 200^th with a time of 29:08.

The women finished 16^th out of 24 teams.

Reshila Curley was the top Lady Ranger. Curley had a time of 19:27 and finished 54^th. Cadence Long-Torres was the second Lady Ranger. She finished 67^th with a time of 19:37. Next was Jessica Myers in 83^rd with a time of 19:54.

Ana Rojas finished 149^th with a time of 20:57. Emilia Ceniceros had a time of 21:21 putting her in 171^st. Ashley Myers was not far behind in 179^th with a time of 21:30. Jaidyn Frantz finished 186^th with a time of 21:40.

Next for the cross-country teams will be the Chile Pepper Festival. This takes place in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the University of Arkansas on October 3.
