The first Friday Artwalk event at the Runnymede in downtown Alva will feature photography of an Northwestern student.
Artwalk, sponsored by Nescatunga Arts and Humanities Council, is 6-8 p.m.
The first floor will display a photography exhibit by Ingrid Maldonado, mass communication major at NWOSU and photo editor at the Northwestern News.
Second floor will hold rock panting activities. It included three rocks for $10 per person. The painting is come and go through the evening. The rocks, bearing a positive message, can be taken home or placed around Alva Artwalk encourages participants to use #AlvaRocks and #Nescatunga so people can see who found the rocks and when it was found.
Maldonado said her “passions stem from a lifelong love of arts, whether its drawing or singing. Capturing moments through the lens is my way of creating and sharing beauty with world. As a lover of all forms of art, I bring a creative and heartfelt approach to every photo I take whether it’s for families, seniors, couples or brands. My image can be described as cozy, warm, intimated and connected to nature.”
