Football lost its two games against Henderson State University and Southeastern Oklahoma State University, as the Rangers continue to struggle to produce a win.
The Rangers lost 0-59 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. The Rangers were able to score against the Savage Storm.
Although they did not score in the first half and gave up five touchdowns, they were able to fight Southeastern in the second half. They scored a touchdown in both the third and fourth quarters against the Savage Storm.
Jax Bernard threw 12 for 23 against Henderson State, although he did throw two interceptions. Kaedric Cobbs ran for 65 yards throughout the game, the longest rush being 13 yards. Ivory Wilright had five receptions and ran for 40 yards. Ben Heidebrecht had the longest reception for the Rangers against Henderson, his only catch of the game, and he went 32 yards. Rock Schomaker had 4 solo tackles and 3 assisted tackles, coming up with a total of seven tackles in the game.
Beck Moss threw 5 for 11 and had a total of 72 yards thrown. Moss threw one touchdown pass and one interception. Cobbs had the most yards rushed against Southeastern as he had a total of 46 gained and a net of 34. Isiah Taylor had two receptions and 61 yards. Merric Judd had four receptions, 33 yards, and one touchdown. Schomaker had the most tackles with 11 total, five solo and six assisted.
The next game for football is the homecoming game against Southern Nazarene Unviersity.
