The Northwestern men’s cross country team won the Muthama-Rogers meet while the women took third. The teams were in Newton, Kansas, Saturday.
Christian Franklin, who beat his own record recently, was the individual winner in the men’s race, followed by three others in the Top 10.
Franklin, a junior mass communication major from Las Vegas, led the pack of 84 runners with a 26:90.60 time in the 8k.
Jamaira Ross, a senior from Dallas, placed third in the women’s meet with 20:01.11. Two others finished in the Top 10.
