It’s been 3 years but Lithuania still beautiful

Not a lot of people know about this beautiful, little country. Let me tell you a little bit about Lithuania.
It is located in the Baltic region of Northern Europe, bordering Latvia, Poland and Belarus. We have about 2.8 million people, and it is about 25,212 square miles in size.

Vilnius is the capital city of Lithuania, and that is where I grew up. I lived there for 16 years before I decided to follow my dreams in the United States.

After not being able to go home for three years, I finally visited my family with my boyfriend and his mom this spring break. We had the best time walking around the cities, seeing awesome views, remembering how good the food tastes and of course, spending quality time with my family.

The summer views are even more beautiful.

The view of Vilnius, the capital city of Lithuania, is seen from the Gediminas Castle Tower Hill. This city of more than 544,000 and 700 years old is in the south.

The old capital of Lithuania is Trakai. It is most known for the castle Trakai shown here, which is now a museum, kibinai, and old, little houses.
One of the best dishes in Lithuania is kibinai, traditional pastries filled with mutton and onion.
