The golf team struggled in the Skip Wagon Invitational and the Grace Shin Invitational in Edmond on Monday and Tuesday.


The men finished 11th out of the 18 teams that competed. The men had a combined score of +15.


Mathieu Zerwin finished even on the scorecard, putting him in 22nd.


Zac Farmer was 34th with a score of +4.


In 50th was Pierce Geminden with a score of +7.


Max Courange finished with a score of +9, putting him in 64th.


Chris Xiao was the lowest-placing Ranger, finishing in 79th with a score of +12.


The women finished with a combined score of +69. They finished in 16th out of 19 teams.


Tess Linden and Gracie Doke both had a score of +13, placing them in 46th.


Amanda Lane was 60th with a score of +16.


Heather Hunkele finished 82nd with a score of +27.


Ava Borne had a score of +48, putting her in 100th.


Next for the Northwestern golf teams is the Perkins Cup, where they will face off against Southwestern Oklahoma State in a match-play competition. The two teams have golfers play head-to-head, whoever has the lowest score earns their team a point.
