According to Coronado Hall Resident Assistant Ethan Sacket, the Car Bash and Pumpkin Smash “was a great opportunity for all Northwestern students that participated,” and it allowed students “to relieve any potential stress.” Students were able to smash a 1987 Ford Escort, which was donated by Bud’s Salvage near Aline. Cody Cosper and Andres Sustaita painted the vehicle, and several other students pitched in to help. “I have been very impressed by the student involvement at Northwestern, as this makes hosting different events even more rewarding,” Sacket said.
