On March 31 and April 1, the NWOSU men’s golf team was in Hays, Kansas to compete in the Fort Hays State University Tiger Classic. This is the final competition that men’s golf has on their schedule for the 2025 season.
The competition contained eighteen teams, all consisting of ninety-eight competitors.

Mathieu Zerwin was NWOSU’s highest placing golfer. He finished off in fifty-ninth with a score of +14.

Pierce Giminden was the second Ranger in the standings, with a final position of sixty-seventh, finishing with a score of +16.

Max Courange was right behind Giminden, ending with a score just one stroke more than Giminden. He finished seventy-fourth with a score of +17.
Caden Holmes was further behind the pair as he finished with a score of +19, putting him in eighty-second.

Alex Chenard was the lowest Ranger in the standings, as he ended the day in eighty-sixth with a score of +21.

NWOSU as a team finished off in sixteenth out of eighteen teams, with a combined final score of +67.

This spring season was a poor showing from the men’s golf team. Throughout their five-competition schedule, they never finished outside of the bottom 25% of the teams, which is certainly a step down from last year.
