The Miss Northwestern pageant has six women from Kansas and Oklahoma participating this year. The oageant will take place at 4 P.M. Sunday, October 29th in the Herod Hall Auditorium.

The woman selected as the winner of the pageant will represent the universitry at the Miss Oklahomaa Pageant next year. Doors will open at 3:30 P.M. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Northwestern Business Office or from cotnestants with a price of $8 in advance or $10 at the door, and $3 for students with ID.

Competing for the Miss Northwestern Title are: Katherine Blair, sophomroe instrumental music major from Waynoka; Shelby Bender, sophomore nursing major from Cherokee, Macie Malone, senior biology major from Bel Aire, Kansas; Mandra Maxwell, sophomore biology major from Okmulgee; Shelbi Morland,  sophomore mathematics major from Laverne; and Meghan Webb, sophomore biology major from Alva.

Contestants in the pageant will be judged in lifestyle and fitnes, interview, talent and osntage quersiton cargories. Each contestant will receive participation scholarship awards and raking determines other prize winnings.
