High school seniors all over Northwesterns’ recruiting area have the opportunity to visit campus one time a year to receive the benefits Ranger preview has to offer.

Northwestern will host Ranger preview Saturday October, 29. Registration begins at 8 a.m. in Percefull field house.

Ranger preview offers upcoming freshman 600-dollar scholarships from Community bank and an application waiver for attending the event.

“Ranger Preview is designed to showcase what NWOSU can offer to potential Rangers, and it is an added bonus to all of the seniors to receive the extra $600 scholarship on top of everything else,” said Paige Fischer, director of recruitment. We are fortunate to have the community support, especially the support of Community Bank, in hosting an event of this magnitude.”

A few of the campuses clubs, organizations, departments and programs are there to let future students see all the opportunities they will have to get involved as rangers in the classroom and after class.

“Ranger Preview gives seniors and their families a chance to see what it really means to be a part of the Ranger Family,” said Fischer. “I feel confident that so many seniors leave Ranger Preview knowing that Northwestern is the place they want to earn their college degree.”

Everyone who works in the recruitment office has worked to make Ranger Preview the best experience for all who attend.

“We are a team of strong, hardworking Northwestern employees who don’t mind going above and beyond the call of duty to ensure Ranger Preview, “said Jenny Redinger, recruitment office manager. “The dedication of Paige Fischer, Director of recruitment and crew work countless hours of calling perspective students is something we take pride in.”

The student workers play a big part in making Ranger Preview a success

“We make phone calls to high school seniors letting them know about Ranger preview,” said Chickasha sophomore Tyler Miller. “We give them a taste of life at Northwestern from students who are in the shoes they will soon fill.”

Students campus wide can volunteer to be a part of Ranger Preview by contacting the recruitment office.

“I would encourage the current student body to help spread the word about Ranger Preview to any high school seniors they might know,” said Fischer. “It is a tremendous opportunity!”
