A homegrown three-man band from Oklahoma’s very own red dirt will be starting the annual Northwest Oklahoma Concert Series at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 20, in Northwestern Oklahoma State University’s Herod Hall Auditorium.

For the last 27 years the band “The Red Dirt Rangers (RDR)” has been performing all over the country.

RDR members include guitarist and vocalist Piccolo; Cooper on mandolin, percussion and vocals; Han as lead guitar and on vocal; Randy Crouch on the fiddle; Don Morris on the bass; and Rick Gomez on the drums.

Season tickets are available until the first show, for $20 for students and $40 for adults.

Tickets to individual performances will be sold on an “as available” basis at $15 for adults and $10 for students with ID.

The reserved seating section at each concert for season ticket holders will be held until five minutes prior to the performance.
