“I got Brandy because I knew a family friend with a hedgehog and it was adorable. I immediately fell in love with the thought of having one and it helps that they are low maintenance. They sleep like 97% of the day and you only need to spend roughly 30 min a day with them.”

“I got stitch the second semester of my freshmen year. my counselor suggested I get an emotional support animal (ESA) to help cope with my trauma. I trained him myself to react to someone upset and comfort them. The first time he saw me crying he was so confused because he had never seen that before. As I was crying he came up to me, sat down, looked at me and cocked his head to the side. I went to go reach for him but he threw his paw at my face and hit me. It made me stop crying but start laughing because he essentially ended up bopping me in the eye.”

It was Valentine’s day and I told one of my guy friends that I’ve never got a Valentine’s Day present.  so he said he would give me a puppy. I thought he was joking but later that day he showed up to my house with a puppy.”

“Well me and Draven were grilling some steaks and bacon-wrapped asparagus. Well all three of us were out there and I had the asparagus right behind me on the table about to put them on the grill and I turn around and Draven is chasing Dixie around the yard with asparagus sticking out of her mouth. She was as sly as a fox, it was pretty funny even though we lost some food.”
