Northeastern State soccer beat Northwestern 3-0 on Sunday in Alva, adding another notch to its winning record that is now 4-0-0.
NWOSU sits at 1-2-1.
The Riverhawks scored once in the first half and twice in the second. The Rangers goalie, Rachel Brown, who was named goalie of the week last week, faced 13 shots and saved 10.
Victoria Ruvalcaba and Adrianna Gutierrez each had two shots and one shot on goal. The other two shots on goal came from Emerson Curd and Isabella Mcmillan.
In the 30th minute, the Riverhawks scored the first goal.
The game remained 1-0 into the halftime break.
Northeastern’s Olivia Kucharyski scored twice, giving the Riverhawks a 3-0 lead and win.
