The Lady Rangers played a series of games over the week of spring break.

The Lady Rangers faced off on the turf of Henderson State University in a double-header on March 16.

The Lady Rangers struggled to keep up with the Henderson State offense, and dropped both games 5-3 and 8-0 respectively.

In game one, Henderson State jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first.

The Lady Rangers answered back quickly, thanks to a two-run single by Morgan Kirk to right field, which tied the game two all going into the third.

Henderson State took the lead with two more runs in the bottom of the third, and another in the sixth, and the Lady Rangers were unable to catch up.

In game two, the Lady Rangers couldn’t seem to get any offense going. It was all Henderson State, as they scored runs in the first, fourth and fifth innings.

The Lady Rangers were led by Morgan Kirk who had two RBI’s on one hit and Ashlie Green who recorded one RBI and three hits.

Pitcher Karly Murray had five strikeouts against Henderson in game two.

The Lady Rangers played two non-conference double-header games against Cameron University and Midwestern State.

The Lady Rangers dropped both double-headers against Cameron and Midwestern State.

The Lady Rangers next played a four game series against Ouachita Baptist.

The Lady Rangers dropped the first two games 5-4 and 6-4, respectively.

In game one, the Lady Rangers came close to pulling it out.

They took a 4-2 lead in the bottom of the sixth.

Ouachita answered back in the top of the seventh, however, with three runs, and it was enough to seal the victory.

In games three and four, the Lady Rangers could only win game four 9-3, but dropped game three 10-2.

In game four, pitcher Karly Murray struck out six and held Ouachita to only five hits.

The Lady Rangers offense took off in the first inning, scoring six runs.

With the lead, the Lady Rangers never looked back.

On March 26, the Lady Rangers faced off against heated rivlas Southwestern Oklahoma State University.

In the double-header, the Lady Rangers dropped game one 6-3 and won game two 4-0.

The Lady Rangers were just in reach of the game one victory. They were within one run when SWOSU tacked on two more runs in the seventh to win.

In game two, the Lady Rangers downed the Lady Bulldogs. They took care of business in the first and second innings with two runs in each, and it was enough to last the rest of the game.

The Lady Rangers next face Harding University in Arkansas.
