The Northwestern Oklahoma State University volleyball team traveled to Edmond, Okla. to take on the Broncos of University of Central Oklahoma on Friday. The Rangers battled and took the Broncos to 4 sets buy lost 3-1.

The games were close but the rangers couldn’t keep up (19-25, 16-25, 25-18, 16-25).

Leading the Rangers with 16 kills and aces with three was Nora To’omalatai.

Kaydee Yukawa added 19 assists. Vanessa Maile followed closely behind with a total of 17.

The Rangers finished with 48 kills, 5 aces, 5 blocks, 42 assists and 53 digs.

Up next, the Lady Rangers will travel to conference rival, Southwestern Oklahoma State, on Thursday, September 24.

The match is set to begin at 7 p.m. After that the Rangers will be on the road until they return home on October 2.
