The Ranger women took second at the Carol Swenson Invite at McPherson College in Kansas Oct. 12, but a Ranger was the first person over the finish line in the 5K.
Jamaira Ross, a senior biology major from Dallas, led the pack, coming in at 19:48.94, setting a new personal record. She was one of three Rangers in the Top 10.
Ava Miller, a freshman biology major from Tuttle, also turned in a personal record at 20:21.79, placing fourth overall.
Cadence Long-Torres, a sophomore psychology major from Moore, finished ninth with a time of 20:43.47.
Ross, Miller and Long-Torres all finished in the Top 10 at the Carol Swenson Invite in Kansas on Oct. 12.
