Enrollment for the Summer & Fall 2016 semesters is still open.

With this spring semester coming to an end, students who plan on returning to Northwestern for the summer and fall semesters are being urged to enroll for classes.

June 2, 2016 is the last day to add June only classes.

Enrolling for desired classes on time is a crucial part of staying on task with your academic career.

Many reoccurring students are procrastinating or simply not remembering to meet with advisors to enroll in desired and needed classes, for their degrees.

With students busy schedules it is easy to do; however, staying on task will be worth it in the end.

When waiting till the last minute to enroll, problems arise that can set the student back.

If classes fill up and a student cannot get into a particular class, then that messes up a planned schedule.

Some classes are only offered in spring or fall and if that is the case then students would have to cram the class they missed or possibly take additional semesters that they were not planning or budgeting for.

Caleb Mosburg, Dean of Academic Affairs, said, “Building good habits in college will come in handy when you’re looking for a job.

Employers like it when an employee is on the ball and able to get tasks accomplished in a timely manner.”

Knowing what classes you need to take to keep on track helps reduce stress and saves time and money.

“Students should devote themselves to their education and have pride in wanting to continue your education at Northwestern,” said Dean Mosburg.
