Students can get involved now in planning for homecoming events.

Clubs and Organizations can enter in this year’s Homecoming Paint Palooza Contest, where they will decorate a plywood board that will be spread around campus to show Ranger Pride during homcoming week.

The NWOSU Student Government Association will provide the plywood but the clubs, organizations and athletic groups will have to provide their own supplies. The board must have the groups name on it. The boards will be judged on originality and theme creativity. The award for the 1st place group is $200 and the award for the second place group is $100.

The new activity that students can get involved with this year is the building decorating. Each building will pick a representative. The representative will be in charge of receiving the updates and answers to their building questions from Kaylen Hansen and to assure that their building is getting decorated. The goal is to show your ranger spirit. The decorations should include this years theme “Come Back, Give Back…Continue the Legacy” All decorations must be done by 8:am Tuesday, Sept. 26.

The Deadline to enter in both contest is September 20th. Students who are interested in participating should contact Kaylyn Hansen if you are on the Alva campus, Candace Reim if your are on the Enid Campus, or Milissa Sturgil if you are on the Woodward campus.
