After a great performance in a pair of games over the past week, Bailey Brown was recognized for her work as she was named the Great American Conference Women›s Basketball Co-Player of the Week on Monday.

Brown led the Lady Rangers to a pair of wins over Ouachita Baptist and Henderson State, helping her squad clinch the program’s first every GAC Championships Tournament bid.

In the two games, Brown averaged 22.5 points, including a career high 28 points against HSU, and 7.5 rebounds in the two games.

This is the second time in her career Brown has been named GAC Player of the Week.

A native of Enid, Oklahoma, the sophomore recorded her sixth double-double of the season against the Lady Tigers of Ouachita with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Brown went 11-for-11 from the line in Saturday’s tournament clinching victory, the second best perfect game from the line in program history.
