Northwestern’s Family Day event is an annual event that allows students’ families to visit Alva and campus.
Families can get tours of campus, shop for ranger gear and shop for tuition. The shopping for tuition event takes place from Tuesday until Saturday. The shop for tuition scholarships is a time when families can visit numerous stores around Alva and enter to win scholarships. This year, students can enter for a $200, $300 and a $500 scholarship that will be given away. There are over 20 businesses around Alva that will be participating in the shopping for tuition event.
On Saturday, there will be a lunch in the Student Center for alumni, parents and students at noon.
Registration will then start at 1 p.m. in the Student Center. Rangers can then head to the field as the tailgate party will kick off at 5 p.m. This will be at the fourth parking tier at the Ranger Field. There will be free food and drinks.
