Head coach Ronnie Jones, a seasoned coach with a background in both college and the pros, brought in former NFL head coach Jerry Glanville as the new defensive coordinator.

“We are excited to go play a game and see where we are as a football team,” Jones said. “We’ve got a great mix of young talent and experienced players, and our coaching staff brings a lot of knowledge and passion. I’m really looking forward to seeing the Rangers turn our program around and have the success on the field that past Rangers have experienced.”

Alex Baxter, head strength and conditioning coach, said he has been impressed by the team’s dedication during the offseason.

“The hard work and dedication from both players and coaching staff are starting to pay off,” Baxter said. “The commitment to training, discipline and a positive mindset has transformed us into a stronger, more competitive team.”

Baxter has also noticed marked improvements on both sides of the ball.

“On defense, guys are flying to the ball,” he said. “On offense, they are flying around and running each route as hard as they can. Both defense and offense have shined throughout training camp.”

The Great American Conference that the Rangers compete in has a challenging schedule. this year.
“We’re looking forward to the challenge,“ Jones said. “The coaches and players have worked really hard, and I believe these efforts will show up on the field. The guys are hungry, and we’re ready to compete.”
