Northwestern’s Student Government Association will host its annual talent show tonight.

The talent show will be at 6 p.m. in Herod Hall auditorium.

The talent show will be based on the popular TV show, “The Voice.” Contestants will show off their talents, whether singing or some other onstage talent, and on-stage judges will compete for their favorite contestants to be on their teams. The goal for the judges is to select the team they feel has the best chance of winning. Off-stage judges will then add up each teams’ scores to select the winner. First prize is $150, second prize is $100, third prize is $50 and the people’s choice winner will receive $50.

This year’s onstage judges are Director of Athletics for Compliance and Student Services Senior Woman Administrator Wendy McManus, Vice President of Admission David Pecha, and Instructor of Mass Communication Matt Adair.

“It is a fun event that always has the viewers laughing and enjoying the talent that our students here at Northwestern have,” said Kaylyn Hansen, director of student life and counseling.
