Serving as emcee at Northwestern Oklahoma State University’s Miss Cinderella Pageant is 2015 Miss Oklahoma Georgia Frazier. Frazier will lead the pageant on Friday, Oct. 9, at 8 p.m. in Herod Hall Auditorium during the annual Homecoming week events.
Frazier is a Tulsa native and a graduate of Oral Roberts University (ORU) where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in organizational communication with a minor in humanities. During her undergraduate career she was involved in various organizations across campus including Order of the Golden Eagles, Ambassador to the President’s Office and the French Club.
Frazier also was a recipient of the Whole Person Scholarship at ORU. The scholarships she won through the Miss Oklahoma Organization were used to help her achieve her undergraduate education debt-free.
After graduating, Frazier became a marketing director at Celebrity Attractions in Tulsa. She was the director of the Little Rock market and assisted with the West Texas markets.
Frazier has volunteered with various organizations, mentoring programs and coordinated multiple events. She has worked with the American Cancer Society for the last four years as a committee member on the Cattle Baron’s Ball committee – some of her positions include event coordinator, Children’s Party coordinator, and the entertainment coordinator. She has helped raise more than $500,000 for individuals who are fighting cancer.
In 2009, Frazier was crowned as the seventh Miss Oklahoma’s Outstanding Teen. In 2012 she was diagnosed with early stages of cervical cancer and is now a spokesperson for Cervical Cancer Awareness.
Warriors for Women is Frazier’s way to raise awareness about women’s health and preventive healthcare, and to amplify the voices of women to empower them to be warriors for their own health. Frazier has spoken to more than 12,000 young females from eighth grade through college about the importance of going to annual check-ups and preventative health measures. She also started the #StartTalking campaign in social media and at appearances.
Frazier has shared her personal story on the web through her blog, reaching more than 4,000 followers via her Twitter and Facebook pages. She also has organized Warrior for Women’s Fitness Day’s with the help of local Pilate’s studios in Tulsa to help educate women on the importance of fitness and living a healthy lifestyle.
Frazier plans to travel the state as Miss Oklahoma leaving a legacy of empowerment through her platform. She hopes to implement Warriors for Women in all schools and equip each student with the tools to live a healthy lifestyle.
She is the daughter of George and Kay Frazier, and is a proud sister of three brothers: Matthew, 36; Brian, 34; and Parker, 26.

Tickets for the Miss Cinderella talent and pageant competitions will be available at the door for $10 each night. Homecoming buttons will be available for purchase on Thursday at the door for $10, which will grant entry into both Miss Cinderella events. Button purchasers need to be aware that seating at events is a first-come, first-served basis.
Those purchasing buttons also will be able to gain admission to the Ranger football game against Southeastern Oklahoma State University on Saturday, Oct. 10, at 3 p.m. Tickets to the game will be $18 at the gate.
