The rangers ended the tournament with a record of 2-5.

The Northwestern Rangers had an eventful weekend hosting the 2020 Ranger Roundup.

The Washburn University Ichabods, the Truman State University Bulldogs, and Rockhurst University Hawks all traveled to Alva to play the Rangers at Myers Stadium.

The Rangers had a record of 1-2 before the Ranger Roundup started.

On the first day of the Roundup, Washburn gave Northwestern a lost to start the tournament.

The Rangers were stunned by the offensive side of Washburn. The Ichabods went up quick on the Rangers, starting with a score of 6-3.

The Rangers fell to the Washburn Ichabods for the first game of the roundup.

The next day of the tournament, Northwestern played Truman State University. The Rangers could not stop the Bulldogs offensive game. The Bulldogs set the tone in the second inning, making the score 5-0.

Northwestern started their comeback in the fifth inning, having high hopes with a score of 6-4. The Rangers once again could not stop the Bulldogs in the seventh inning, where they would make the score 12-7. The Rangers would drop another game in the Ranger Roundup.

The Saturday game against Rockhurst was another high scoring game. Both teams went back and forth until the fifth inning, where the Hawks would have five runs scored in the fifth inning. With the score at the end of the inning 9-7. The Hawks could not slow down, making the score 14-7. With a few runs scored in the eighth inning the Rangers would be stopped. Losing their third game of the Ranger Roundup 14-11.

The final game of the weekend would be a rematch against Washburn.

The Rangers would come out victorious in their final game. The offensive side of the ball would be in favor of the Northwestern baseball team, making contact and hitting the ball 12 times for six runs in the game.

Defense also helped the Rangers, allowing Washburn to hit the ball only seven times for a total of three runs allowed.

The Rangers would conclude the Ranger Roundup tournament with a record of 2-5.
