The Northwestern Club Fair sponsored by the Student Government Association is approaching.

The fair will be 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday September 15. It will be located by the Northwestern fountain on campus. This is a way to get involved and to become more educated about the Northwestern campus. Campus clubs will have booths set up so you can learn about their organization and potentially become a member of the group that really grabs your interest.  There will also be free snow cones.

The club fair is aimed at getting students more involved with campus life. Students will have an opportunity to see what each club is about, what it can offer them now as members and what it could offer them in the future. You might even find a club that you did not even know about.

Being involved in clubs helps students meet new people, make new friends and make better friendships with the faculty.

Kaylyn Hansen, director of student life and counseling, said, “SGA is super excited for the club fair coming up. The SGA’s main mission is to get students involved in the clubs that are offered to them on campus. We encourage everyone to come out and see what the fair is all about. We are looking forward to a great and exciting day.”

There are over 50 clubs on the Northwestern campus.  A list of the clubs that will be attending the club fair has not yet been released.
