While you might see Johnathon Dwamena processing data for Banc Central in Alva, you might not process what all he has achieved.
Johnathon Dwamena spends his time at work as a data processor where he processes data that is received from banks all across the state of Oklahoma. But little does anyone know that Johnathon comes from a place on the other side of the world. Johnathon is originally from Accra, Ghana, which has a population of 2.27 million people according to Wikipedia. When in Ghana, Johnathon was surrounded by different people.
By the time 2012 had come around, Little did Johnathon know that a big culture change was about to happen. It was then that he and his family would migrate from a big city like Accra, to the small town of Alva, Oklahoma. The new culture and environment took some time for Johnathon to get used to, but once he made it to Alva, he decided to attend Northwestern Oklahoma State University. After more than three years of college education, Johnathon graduated from Northwestern in 2015 with a business degree.
Since then, him and his wife Josi Dwamena have become College Ministers at the Extreme which is ran by the Hopeton Weslyan Church. The Extreme is located on the corner of College Boulevard and Center Street on the square. There, he welcomes all college students every Tuesday Nights for a free dinner and worship.
So while Johnathon is still processing data to this day at Banc Central, he has bigger plans in life that he wants to do. Johnathon wants to work towards his business degree and become a successful man. “I am seeking the Lord for the next big move.” Johnathon said. “Whether that move is to a big city, or someplace else around the world.”
