What a great day to be a Ranger! I am so excited to have all our faculty, staff and students on campus. It has been a wonderful first week. All of the events on campus have been well attended and I appreciate everyone’s work on that.
Hopefully everyone has recognized the progress on our campus within the mall area. I apologize, but work will continue this semester with some more concrete projects, so please be patient. We will also be moving forward with our outdoor classroom very soon.
I hope you are making connections with one another as we want our campus to feel like everyone’s second home. Students, do your best in the classroom as you work toward your degree and do not be afraid to ask for help! Also, be engaged on the campus as we get ready to kick off so many athletic events, band and vocal concerts and so much more.
Finally, I want to thank everyone for following instructions on the first day of school when we had to lockdown the Alva campus for a short period of time. I know this was a stressful event, but the potential risk was real. Remember to follow protocols during those situations at all times. I hope each of you have a wonderful year. I want you all to be proud in being a part of the Ranger Family.
Ride, Rangers, Ride!
