Lady Ranger golf starts rough in Talequah at Northwestern

The Lady Rangers finished 9^th out of 12 in the season opening tournament at the NSU Women’s Classic on Monday and Tuesday.

Eight Great American Conference teams showed up to the NSU Women’s Classic including Southeastern Oklahoma State, Harding, Oklahoma Baptist, Arkansas at Monticello, Southwestern Oklahoma State, Northwestern Oklahoma State, Southern Arkansas and East Central University. Out of the GAC teams, the Lady Rangers finished 6^th out of eight.

Amanda Lane was the top Lady Ranger. Lane finished in 24^th with a score of +6. Veronica Rodriguez and Heather Hunkele had the same score. They finished 40^th with scored of +10.

Olivia Platow finished 50^th with a score of +13. Kelsey Hoy-Pollard finished 63^rd with a score of +20.

The Lady Rangers will be back on Monday and Tuesday, when they compete in the Newman Invitational in Andover, Kansas, home of the Newman Jets.
