The last home game for the Rangers basketball team was on Thursday night at the Pit. After a memorable senior night, the Rangers closed their regular home games for the season with a win, 82-74 against Southern Nazarene. The wrapped the season with a 10-4 home record.
It was a good night for the Rangers and four players with a double digit score by the end of the game.
Kennedy Milton led with 18 points, followed by Camron McDowell with 17, Larry White with 15 and Brian Free with 14.
On Saturday, the basketball team visited the No. 1 team in the GAC, Southeastern, but came up short four points. The Savage Storm won 89-93.
The game had two Rangers with double-digit scores. Camron McDowell led with 41 points and Larry with 16 points. He also added a team high eight rebounds and three assists.
This improved the record to 16-11 on the season and a 14-7 in the conference record.
Northwestern, the No. 3 team in the GAC, will be playing Friday afternoon in the GAC tournament against rival Southwestern Oklahoma State. NWOSU lost one and won one against the Bulldogs in regular season play.
