The men’s golf team finished its first fall classic in Muskogee with a sixth place.
The team earned 864 over the two-day event.
Davan Smith, a health and sports science senior from Dodge City, Kansas, finished in 15th overall and was the top Ranger scorer.
He shot a 70 in the first round, followed by two rounds at 71 each for a total of 212. He had 14 birdies and 29 pars.
Pierce Geminden, a business aministration sophomore from Spring, Texas, was second for the rangers and placed 29th overall. He shot 72, then 70 and finally 74 for a total of 216.
Max Courange, a business administration sophomore from Norman, finished 32nd over with a 217 total (72-71-74).
Matti Zerwin, a business administration sophomore from Lafayette, Colorado, turned in a final 219 (70-75-74) to place 45th.
Magnus Fabian, a business administration sophomore from Stuttgart, Germany, placed 87th with a total of 232 (75-82-75).
