Transfer ShowcaseNorthwestern will host its first ever transfer showcase March 7.

The event will be 10 a.m. in the student center of the Alva campus.

The showcase is open to any student interested in transferring to the Northwestern-Alva campus and everyone that attends will receive a $500 scholarship should they attend the Northwestern-Alva campus in the fall and meet all the scholarship eligibility requirements.

Registration for the showcase will be from 10-11 a.m. in the Student Center Wyatt Room. The welcome will begin at 11 a.m. in the Student Center Ballroom, located on the second floor of the student center. Those who attend will be able to tour the campus, meet faculty and student organization representatives, and get any questions they have answered. They will also be able to meet with members of clubs and organizations on campus as well as academic departments. Campus tours will begin at 11:30 a.m. and continue in 15-minute increments until 12:45 p.m. Lunch will be provided at the Student Center snack bar from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. For more information on the itinerary for the event, check out www.nwosu.edu/transfer-showcase.

For attending, applicants will also get their application fee waived along with a free Northwestern t-shirt and free entry into the baseball and softball games starting at noon.
