In an announcement made by the Great American Conference earlier this week, attention was focused on Rosemary Rivera player with the jersey #12.
The junior from Jewett, Texas, won the title of Player of the Week. Rivera was 7 for 15 in a five-game series.
In the doubleheader matchup against Southwestern Oklahoma State, she doubled twice and scored a run.
Additionally, against Arkansas Monticello, Rivera played some good offense, hitting a trio of home runs while racking up seven runs and crossing the plate herself six times.
In the first game against Arkansas Monticello hit two home runs, including a game-changing grand slam.
She raised her average 36 points in the five-game stretch.
The Lady Rangers have eight regular games left for the season.
Their next game will be this weekend against Southern Arkansas at home.
