Cynthia Samaniego, sophomore accounting major from Alva:
“I celebrated Christmas, had some fun time with my family. I mostly stayed home a lot, baby sat my sisters, and enjoyed the time off.”
Renee O’Connor, sophomore visual arts major from Alva:
“I went to visit my family in Yukon, and my boyfriend’s family in Cordell and Ponca City.”
Ryleigh Long, freshman health and sports science major from Coyle:
“I did weightlifting to keep in shape track, because I throw the javelin for NWOSU.”
Allison Ruwaldt, freshman from Alva:
“I worked over my break at Moore’s Venture Foods. Mostly in the deli, where we have delicious cakes and meat slices. I also slept a lot”.
Dylan Wickham, junior accounting major from Alva:
“I got to visit my girlfriend’s family, as well as go hunting with my grandpa, brother, and dad.”
Emily Newland, a sophomore accounting major from Medford:
“I just stayed with my family. Did some crafty stuff with my mom, some sewing. Played with cats.”
Gabriel Bussinger, senior speech and theatre major from Woodward:
“I designed artwork for tattoo shops.”
Brayden Stoner, sophomore business management major from Arkansas City, KS:
“I mostly hung out with my family; we went to Silver Dollar City. We had our Stoner family reunion and just had a good time.”
Dani Parker, freshman vocal performance major from Meeker:
“I went home and stayed with my siblings at my parents’ house. There were ten of us in a four bedroom.”
Betzaida Amador, sophomore pre-vet biology major from Hardesty:
“Spent time at my parents’, celebrated Christmas with them, and my older sister came down to visit as well with her boyfriend. Spent time mostly just going shopping with my parents and going on rides with my dad and mom. For New Year’s, we had a little party, just me, my mom, my dad, and my little sister.”
