The girls’ grandmother, Kim Trekell, is a student in the Doctorate of Nursing program at NWOSU. Two local youths compete in the horse show held Friday night. A piece of metal art shaped like a butterfly was on display. The piece was using horseshoes, a railroad spike, and paint. Gregory McClure won third place in the chili-cooking contest.
