Thursday night the Lady Rangers basketball closed their regular home games of the season. This was their first loss at home, finishing with a home record of 13-1.

The game against Southern Nazarene finished 47-60 in favor of the Crimson Storm.

Faith Simpson led the scoreboard with a total of 18 points. Following her is Payton Jones with 10 points and Carly Craig with 4 points.

The Lady Rangers also traveled to Durant on Saturday for the last regular season game.

The game against Southeastern Oklahoma State University finished 78-74 for the Lady Rangers.

Also leading in this game, Faith Simpson scored 22 points, Carly Craig 18 points and Payton Jones again with 10 points.

The Lady Rangers finish the season 24-6 and 16-6 in the GAC. The Lady Rangers will play their next game at the GAC tournament on Friday.

Last time the Women’s team went to the GAC tournament was in 2019.

They will be competing at the FireLake Arena on Friday at 8 p.m. in the Great American Conference against Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
